Scope of Work: Ex-works to Hamad Port

Cargo being very big to transport on road, these units were dismantled according to permitted limits. Cranes & Trucks were positioned and placed at the loading site to begin the process.
A total of 3 x Low & 27 x Flats were used to move the full lot from the pickup site to inside Shuwaikh port 50 kms away. Trucks Started moving in from 5 am and the full operations were completed by 2 pm noon time. (9 hrs)
Taking the road ban into consideration & Nil Free time at Shuwaikh port, we had to plan the operations in such a way to cross stuff the cargo onto the MAFI / avoid the storage charges at port & catch the vessel.

Dodging the road ban, the cargo moved in 1 lot to the port and the truckers entered in batches. Wooden dunnage was ready & the cargo were cross loaded onto the Roll Trailer MAFIs with the help of the Port Crane. Immediately the port team started the lashing of the cargo. Approximately 17 x 40’ MAFIs and 18 hrs of port operations to complete the MAFI stuffing and positioned alongside vessel berth ready to load.

All units were loaded & the full operation was completed successfully.
